Archipelago National Park

Archipelago National Park is currently working on its Sustainable Tourism Development Strategy and at this point no businesses have actually undergone certification under the PAN Parks scheme.

However there are a range of local providers that have a cooperation agreement with Metsähallitus and they follow the principles of sustainable nature tourism when operating in the national park. It is hoped that in 2008 some of them will pass the PAN Parks Certification standard set by the Sustainable Tourism Development Strategy and join the network of local business partners across Europe that provide you with opportunities to enjoy and explore the best of Europe’s wilderness.
