Trails 132 km of marked and relatively easy tourist trails (subject to limitations in the winter season). Visitors who would like to become more familiar with nature as well as school groups can follow one of the several educational trails (to be visited with guides). Nature trails are marked in a field by special stop-signs. Additionally each trail has a special guide-book (containing detailed description of plants, animals, inanimate nature, history, etc.) The network of mountain horseback trails totals 142 km, is perfect for expeditions extending several days, accompanied by licensed guides. Mountain biking in National Park is allowed only along public roads. Many more possibilities for bikers exist in the buffer zone of BNP. A system of marked mountain biking trails, which mainly follow forest roads has been just recently established in 2002 in areas surrounding the BNP.
