Fulufjället can provide experiences for everyone… Over 150 km’s of marked trails throughout the park mean you can explore this beautiful wilderness and if you plan carefully may see no one else. An alternative to walking is to enlist the help of four legged friends – either Icelandic horses in summer or dog teams in winter. It’s a very special experience enjoying the exhilaration of the winter landscape being drawn by sledge. This is a must-do activity when you are in Sweden during the winter time. One night can be spent out in the Park where you hear nothing but silence and maybe enjoy the spectacle of the Northern Lights. A real PAN Parks wilderness experience!

Fulufjället is the perfect setting for survival activities. Professional guides and good quality equipment assure a superb experience in the wilderness of Europe. You can learn how to survive in wilderness areas, experience extreme situations and learn how to react in such cases.

Fulufjället provides so much for you to discover either on your own or with the help of an experienced guide: Follow the trail of bears or elk. We can’t promise that you will be able to see the animals but you can see where they have been and get a real sense of their lives and habitat. It has been said that, among all of Dalarnas mountains, Fulufjället has the most abundant birdlife. In summer, large populations of whimbrels and cuckoos make a powerful impression on visitors. So does the bluethroat - the nightingale of the mountains.
